Follow Bennett, Paige, Tacey, Reina, Lauren, and Ella as they navigate their constellation of polyamorous connections. Bennett & Paige, a trans butch/femme couple, live together, and our story begins with their chapter, “On a Silver Platter.” Paige plays regularly with others, and she has date with Tacey to sink into their mommy/girl dynamic in “Ice Cream.” Bennett doesn’t date much, but they have a long-term play partner, Reina, where they can let go and bottom eagerly in “Turn Concrete to Sand.” Lauren, one of Bennett & Paige’s good friends, is also a puppy, and comes over for a little puppy/kitten play in “Wrestle.” Bennett finally has a new first date with Ella, in “Have A Picnic.” And at the end, we go back to Bennett and Paige, reconnecting after all their escapades, and talking through polyamorous feelings, compersion, and support, in “Go Slow.”

This novella explores the intertwined lives of various romantic & sexual relationships in a polycule, told through six short stories.

The Original Six Novella Series

For six months in 2015, Sugarbutch published interconnected stories with the same characters in an arc. At the end of the month, the stories were compiled into a novella. There are six in total.
