Highlighted Filth: A Poem

I want you to read
while I go down on on you
I want to go down on you
while you read
here are the rules

one: it don’t matter
what you read, you pick
I might recommend naughty
dirty, filthy, immoral words that
make you pulse

two: I will be very slow, very
soft. attempt not even to distract
you. but to provide a little
pleasure, in the background, more like
cockwarming than a challenge,

a dare, an inevitable ending. more like
two fingers slipped so slowly
inside you, while your lips
are between my lips,
gentle, barely there

sucking. soft
tongue, wet
mouth. maybe
eventually you’ll read
the highlighted filth out loud

maybe you’ll squeeze my head
between your thighs maybe
you’ll play with my hair
with your fingertips, absently
until you grip and

hold me still and
come, rubbing
on my tongue
three: coming is not
the point. maybe you won’t

come, maybe you’ll
read for hours until
you finally finish
the book, put it down,
triumphant, wait

for me to look up
take off your glasses
reach for me
pull me on top of you
pull me inside of you

legs wrapped around
hips pressing pressing pressing
again and again
while you whisper-moan
yes — which is, four: the point
