I Want To Be Your Writing Dom

You already know you’re a writer. Now it’s time to surrender to the work.

Don’t you want to:

  • Submit — your stories, your manuscripts, your creative vision — to the world that’s waiting for them
  •  Give over the struggle of going it alone and let someone hold the structure for you
  • Be held accountable by someone who will not let you off the hook
  • Stop negotiating with yourself about whether you’ll write today
  • Find out what you’re actually capable of when someone is paying close attention
  • Finish what you start — and feel the satisfaction of following through
  • Earn the praise that comes from doing the work you were always meant to do

I will be your Writing Dominant.

I’ve been writing, publishing, editing, and teaching writing for more than twenty years. I know how to hold a container. I know how to give direction. I know when to push and when to give space — and I know the difference between a block that needs to be broken through and one that needs to be witnessed.

I’ve published work in more than thirty anthologies. I’ve edited seven. I’ve built a writing practice spanning two decades, and I’ve helped countless writers find their way back to the page.

(I’ve also been exactly where you are — paralyzed, avoidant, convinced the work isn’t good enough. So we can talk about that too.)

In Writing Dom coaching, you bring your creative goals, your obstacles, your half-finished drafts, and your excuses. I’ll help you figure out what you actually need — and I’ll hold you to it.

What it means to work this way:

Good D/s doesn’t happen without negotiation, trust, and clear agreements. Neither does good writing coaching.

We’ll start by talking about what you want: what you’re working on, what’s getting in the way, what accountability actually looks like for you. Then I’ll take the lead. I’ll set the structure. I’ll ask the hard questions. I’ll name the patterns I see. And you — you get to focus on the work itself, because someone else is holding the frame.

This is not a casual check-in. This is intentional, focused, one-on-one attention on you and your creative life. You will be seen. You will be challenged. You will be expected to show up.

(And we can determine together what kind of consequences you’ll face if you don’t.)

Here’s what we can work on together:

  • Developing a writing practice with real structure and real follow-through
  •  Meeting your word count goals — daily, weekly, monthly — with accountability
  • Submitting work to anthologies, literary journals, and publishers
  • Navigating the submission and query process from start to finish
  • Self-publishing: planning, producing, and releasing your book
  • Moving through procrastination, perfectionism, and the fear that stops you at the door
  • Sustaining long-term projects without losing momentum
  • Revising and editing drafts toward publication readiness
  • Building a body of work — not just a pile of fragments
  • Getting clear on what you’re actually trying to say — and why

The dynamic only works if you’re ready to be in it.

This coaching isn’t for writers who want someone to be gentle with their avoidance. It’s for writers who are ready to stop protecting themselves from their own potential.

It’s for writers who want to be taken in hand.

You bring the desire and the willingness. I bring the structure, the expertise, the direction — and the kind of focused attention that makes it very hard to keep pretending you don’t have time.
