Dee’s Big Daddies Really Are Big: New High Quality XXXL Silicone Toys

Dee’s Big Daddies is a new venture from the folks at Uberrime, which is a favorite silicone maker of mine. Uberrime, in case you don’t already know, makes some of the only triple-density silicone that is available, including Bella (my fave) and Amante, among many other exciting things. They have so many colors of silicone, and you can request custom colors if you have a particular color scheme you’re into. Uberrime also make tentacles and fantasy toys, as well as grinders and front-hole/vaginal plugs, and both Uberrime and Dee’s Big Daddies make beautiful, high quality silicone toys.

Dee’s, as you might suspect from the name, specializes in extra large silicone dildos.

And, yes indeed, they are very, very large.

I like a big toy, but they are kind of for particular situations, at least in my personal sex life. As many of you I’m sure know, if you have ever wandered around a gay boy sex toy shop, butts can generally take WAY more girth and length than vaginas or mouths can — and while I have definitely played with size queens, there’s a particular girth and length where the feminist, sex-positive, queer-positive (or queer-made) silicone creators kinda top out. (Usually it’s around 2” in diameter and ~10” insertable, if I was pushed to quote a size.)

So taking on the Big Daddies was something I didn’t want to do alone! Extra thanks to my friends, E & DB, who tried these out with me and who shared lots of their thoughts so I could write this review. Plus, they are queers who are absolute connoisseurs of XXXL silicone, so they have comparisons and feedback that never would have crossed my mind.

We were all really impressed by the quality of silicone and the particular models that Dee’s sent us to review.

DB says: “I really really like big dicks. I’ve probably had over two dozen dicks that are bigger than 2.5” in diameter, and I’ve probably given away more than half of the big dicks I’ve acquired over time, because they just didn’t do it for me. Dee’s Big Daddies is the first place I would go to buy more big toys.”

In general, E & DB say: “We liked all of them! All the shapes are all more ovoid or triangular than round; they have a ridge on them. Which is unlike Hankey’s Toys XXXL cocks, which has a very round cross section — almost a perfect circle. But in reality, people have pelvic bones! And perfect circles don’t necessarily fit into our holes comfortably. With toys of this size, bone structure is a big deal; sometimes you have to change the orientation of a toy in order to get it to fit right.”

E says: “When you’re on your hands & knees, and I’m fucking you, this ridge is not just helpful to fit in between bones, it is stimulating. The pronounced ridge is firm enough to deliver sensation, but not so firm that it’s a struggle to get in, or tremendously overwhelming in use. And all of Dee’s toys have enough of a taper toward the tip that they’re easier to get started.”

Let’s talk about the toys!

Dee’s Big Daddies sent me four — FOUR — big daddies to review: Diedrich, Duke, Dante, and Duncan. (Thanks!)

I don’t want to give it away or anything, but here’s the most important thing: Duncan has stood out as the clear front runner among those four, and I’m obsessed. I am definitely getting another one in a different color and possibly a different silicone density. (More on Duncan down below.)

Speaking of: Dee’s has many options for colors and silicone density! Including Balls Deep Black, Booty Call Blue, Packing Purple, and five shades of ‘flesh tones’. You can also add on a second AND THIRD color, if you want to, because they do incredible swirls and hombres with their toys that is incredible silicone artistry. You can choose from two densities of platinum silicone:
“Very Soft Shore Density 0030 – similar to a warm gummy”, and “Soft Short Density 0050 – similar to a cool gummy.” All of the toys they sent are 0050, and they’re very nicely squishy while still being plenty firm.

DANTE XL

Specs: 7.5” insertable length, 6.625” max circumference at the base.

Dante is skinny and curved, with thick balls. Even though Dee’s sent us their smallest version of the Dante, the XL (and it goes up to XXXL with an insertable length of 9.625″) this one is still so large. Mostly it’s the thick balls at the base that makes it heavy and chunky!

DB says: “I’m not a big fan of balls on dildos; they can be logistically challenging, and they don’t add anything for me. They make it more complex for positioning, weight distribution, and will it stand up or not. But, these are my opinions very much born of a lifetime of solo play in (hotel) bathrooms. Generally, it is nicer to receive when someone is strapped on, because of the angle. I’d love to see more angles on toys, with balls or without!”

DIEDRICH XXXL

Specs: 10” insertable, 8.75” max circumference, 2.75-3” diameter

Diedrich is long with a big head. This is one of the longest that Dee’s sent for us to review.

DB says: “The shape is triangular, like Duke, but more comfortably so. It narrows about a third of the way down and then widens again a bit. Those kinds of differences in diameter, shape, and texture actually feel good to a body. This has a pronounced head, but not aggressively so.”

E says: “Diedrich was the longest one, and really didn’t fit in a cunt. But it’s still great to fuck DB with, and is a great shape.”

DUKE XXL

Specs: 8.75” insertable, 9.75” max circ, 3” diameter

Duke is stubby and thick, and a little bit triangular in its shaping. It goes up to XXXL, which has an insertable length of 9.75″.

After reviewing, DB said: “There’s nothing wrong with it; it’s just a pole of silicone, and lacks anything interesting. The combination of the size and the cross-section is too aggressively triangular, and it was at the edge of what’s comfortable for me. The taper is very fast, and then it doesn’t drop significantly; it’s the same shape of cylinder the whole way. It’d be much nicer without the corpus cavernosum. Duke is my least favorite of these toys, but I would enjoy this more after I used other big toys. Because of the triangular shape it needs warm-up.”

DUNCAN XL

Specs: 8” insertable length, 7.5” circumference at the widest

Duncan is wide with a popping head, a little bit curved, and is thicker at the top of the shaft than at the bottom.

Of all the Dee’s toys that E, DB, and I reviewed, Duncan has been the one that stands out the most. The thickness at the top of the shaft is so pleasurable to receive. Personally, my only complaint is that I am particularly fond of cocks with balls, so I wish it had those (but there are some bonus balls from companies like New York Toy Collective that I can sling around it, which I love to do). But plenty of folks prefer cocks not to have balls, so you’re in luck with this one.

E says: “I really like this one. In the descriptions of Duncan, they’re very particular about having this curve, but I don’t really notice the curve at all. Maybe for front holes there is less sensitivity to the curvature?”

DB says: “I really like toys that get wide and then taper toward the middle, or the base, so there’s a stretch feeling coming in and going out. It’s quickly become one of my favorites of all my toys. By my standards, it’s small, and often when I use smaller toys they aren’t very interesting. As someone who usually prefers size over any other factor, I’m surprised that the Duncan is my favorite. But the shape is just fantastic.”

Some Final Thoughts

You might be familiar with Hankey’s Toys — they have been, for years, one of the gold standards in XXXL silicone toys, with lots of different options for shapes, textures, and densities (and lots of toys modeled after porn stars). Hankey’s cocks have a lot of nooks and crannies; sharper divots in and out, which can be a challenge to clean.

While Dee’s silicone quality collects just as much dust and hair as any other silicone, they are generally very smooth — smoother than Hankey’s Toys. This, according to DB & E anyway, means they require less lube to stay slick.

DB says: “I prefer Dee’s Big Daddies to Hankey’s toys on almost every spectrum.”

Extra thank you to Dee’s Big Daddies for sending us four toys to review and check out!
