BUTCH EYE CANDY

Send me photographs of female masculinity. Butches, bois, trans guys, studs, ags, drag kings - any sort of expression of female masculinity, in any sort of position or situation, from walking a dog to getting a haircut to working to being shoved up against a wall and kissed.

If you’d like, include a brief descriptor sentence about the butch in the photo: “enjoys drinking, dancing, and nights on the town.” (This request comes from femme readers.)

Include a link to your website and the photographer’s credits, if applicable.

JPG, GIF, or BMP formats are fine. Images should be high-resolution. Sending multiple shots is fine; I may choose to turn them into a diptych or triptych, or may just chose one.

STUFF BUTCHES LIKE

This is a relatively young feature on Sugarbutch, and I’ve hesitated to call it “Stuff Butches Like” because of the way that gives me the authority to dictate what it is Butches Like - and I can’t speak for all butches. But I can speak for me, and I can open up that forum to other butches (and other female-masculinity identities in the gender galaxy) to add the things that they like into the conversation.

So: I’m looking for articles about things relating to butch identity, relationships, sexuality, queer culture, gender development, chivalry, and general ways butches live in the world. Article should be no more than 1000 words and not published elsewhere; it remains exclusive to Sugarbutch for two months and then may be reproduced elsewhere.

Include: your name, email address, website (if applicable), and a brief byline about you (one or two short sentences).

STRAPPY FEMME SANDALS

I always welcome photographs of femmes in strappy sandals, high heels, laced-up ribbons around the ankle, fishnets, schoolgirl knee-high socks, swirly skirts, bare ankles … you get the picture.

I’ll feature my favorites on Sugarbutch, but mostly this is just for my own personal collection.
